Nancy H. Booz

Nancy H. Booz, a longtime resident of East Rockhill Township, died on January 13, 2026, at The Community at Rockhill. She was 94.

Nancy was born on September 23, 1931, to William M. and Marion Renner Hill in Abington, PA. Nancy moved to West Rockhill Township when she was 10 years old.

She graduated from Sell-Perk High and Lock Haven State Teacher's College. Nancy worked in the Souderton Area School District as a kindergarten teacher until the birth of her first child. Later she was a pre-school teacher at the Wigwam Nursery School in Sellersville.

Nancy was the wife of the late Robert E. Booz of Perkasie. They had been married for 70 years at the time of his death in October 2025.

Nancy was active in her community, serving as a Judge of Elections in West Rockhill Township and as a machine inspector at the polls for East Rockhill Township. In addition, she served on the East Rockhill Planning Commission.

Nancy was a lifelong member of St Paul's United Church of Christ in Sellersville. She served on the Consistory, Christian Education and Spiritual Life Committees and the Church's Endowment Committee. Through her work at St. Paul's, she also became involved with Bethany Children's Home, specifically the Women's Committee.

Nancy loved game shows and enjoyed sudoku, cross word puzzles and playing bridge.

She is survived by her three children, Nina Stryker (Keith), Mindy Cardacin and Bob Booz (Meredith), five grandchildren, David, Maura, Greg, Katie and Sarah, and four great-grandchildren, Ella, John, Mia, and Rose. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Bob, her parents, her brother William M. Hill III, and her son-in-law, John Cardacin.

Nancy's Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Suess-Gahman Funeral Home, 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, where family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in St. Stephen's United Church of Christ Cemetery, 940 West Market Street, Perkasie, PA 18944.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Bethany Children's Home, St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sellersville, PA 18960, Samaritan's Purse, Pawsibilities, Stray Cat Blues or any other no kill animal shelter.
