Nancy L. Bracken, 93, of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Lincoln.
She was born November 1, 1932, in Bostwick, NE, to Claude Leonard and Florence Edith (Reiselt) Bailey.
Survived by daughter, Lynnda Schiermann; sons, Melvin "Dale" Bracken and Jeffrey (Debra) Bracken; sisters, Maybelle Joyce (Bob) Ruxton and Jean Kay Loya; sister-in-law, Leta Bailey;11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral 11 A.M., Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fremont. Visitation Monday 5-7 PM at Moser's in Fremont. Burial 3 PM Tuesday, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth. Online condolences at www.mosermemorialchapels.com.

I met Nancy shortly after she moved to Stanton Tower in Fremont. My first impression? What a sweetheart! I always enjoyed our little chats at the mailbox. To her family, may you have many good lifelong memories to share with each other.
