WAYNESFIELD -- Nancy May Brannon, 88, of Waynesfield, OH passed away Thursday morning, October 30, 2025, at her home.
Nancy was born on June 26, 1937, in Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of the late Roy and Mary (DeVilliers) King. She married Charles Brannon on July 5, 1958, in Fort Wayne and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2000. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Ted King, Suzanne Shie, and Linda Greene, great granddaughter, Layla Yoakam, great grandsons, Isaiah and Colton sister-in-law, Bobette King, brother-in-law, Richard Shie, and a niece, Tonya Anderson.
Nancy is survived by three daughters, Marilyn (Phil) Woods of Findlay, OH, Cheryl (Marshall) Motter of Waynesfield, and Diane Brannon of Wapakoneta, OH, eight grandchildren, Amanda Meyer, Brandie (Brian) Fedderke, Stephanie (Daryl) Odenweller, Derek (Josh) Brannon, Stacey (Jeremy) Koch, Sarah (Brian) Kuhlman, Shelby (Ron) Halterman, and Mathew (Darci) Motter, 16 great grandchildren, Rylee, Aubre, Lauren, Libby, Lacey, Kaden, Lincoln, Payton, Parker, Jeramiah, Morgan, Lawson, Eli, Maya, Cooper, Jovi, and Indi, a great-great granddaughter, Myleigh, a sister, Mary King, a brother, Richard Lee King, and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a graduate of Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne. She was an administrative assistant and retired from Heartland of Indian Lake. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, reading and watching TV. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205S. Main St, Lakeview with visitation from 10-11. Inurnment will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery, Waynesfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Nancy's memorial to an organization of the donor's choice.
