Nancy L. Brigham

Nancy L. Brigham, 83, of Corry, PA, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on December 25, 1942, in Union City, PA, a daughter of the late William F. Shreve, Sr. and Bernice (Button) Shreve.
Nancy was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High School in 1960. As a teenager she worked for Widman's GC Murphy's and Corry Bakery. Nancy then married and stayed home to raise and care for her family. After her family grew, Nancy worked for the Gertrude Barber Center in Corry as a teachers Aid. She worked there for 33 years, retiring in 2002.
She was a member of the St. Thomas Altar and Rosary Society, on the Board of Directors at the Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Center Corry Campus. Nancy was also a Brownie and Girl Scout leader, was a member of the Stanford Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary, Arc and Mothers March Campaign Chairman. She was part of the women's volleyball league and bowling league and the Chairman of her Class of 1960 Alumni.
Nancy's most precious hobby was the time she spent with the one and only love of her life, her husband Jack. Her family was her world. Camping, picnics and fires in the backyard. And loved her "Girls Day Out" with her daughters Tammy and Debbie. Enjoyed her monthly luncheons with Jack for Foamex, weekly Sunday drives. She loved to read and just finished her 17th book in three months. She enjoyed working and organizing Class of 60 Alumni's. Nancy loved her vacations to the ocean and Florida vacations in the winter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. "Jack" Brigham, whom she married on June 18, 1960, in Corry, PA; son, Tommy Brigham; brother William Shreve Jr.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Tammy E. Brigham (Luke) and Debbie A. (Rick) Rasey; a son John E. (Lisa) Brigham, Jr., all of Corry, PA.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Rick (Karen) Rasey, Jeremy (Shelby) Ricketts, Derek Rasey (Kayla), Kelli (Patrick) Trotter, Mindy Rasey, Tyler (Claire) Brigham and Trevor (Julie) Brigham; fourteen great-grandchildren, Cameron, MacKenzie, Macyn, Bennett, Emerson, Ella, Kingsley, Laraniese, Azileah, Jude, Caiden, Scarlett, Savannah and Miranda; three great-great-grandchildren, Oliver, Ellie and Juniper and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Lecom Hospice and especially her nurses Melissa and Tracy.
Family and friends are invited to call at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 West Washington St., Corry, PA 16407 on Friday, January 9th from 9 am until time of Mass of Christian burial at 10 am. Rev. Mark Hoffman will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery, Corry, PA.
