Nancy Burch Obituary
Nancy was an avid tv show enthusiast with some of her favorites being NCIS, Chicago PD, Law & Order, the Hallmark and TBN channels as well as anything that was religious based. She worked for over 30 years at the Orleans County Nursing Home as a housekeeper and a nurse’s aide.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward Burch in 2007, grandson, Matthew L. Piepenburg, siblings Beverly, Linda, Shirley, James Jr. and special grand dog, Bob.
Nancy is survived by her children, Amy (Robert) Durham, Steven (Denise) Williams, Beth (late Daniel) Shea, stepchildren, Michele, Tina, Tammy, Lee, grandchildren, Faith (Eric) Ware, Brandon (Ashley) Shea, Scott (fiancé Carol) Shea, great-grandchildren, Honna, Thaddeus, Micah, Benjamin, Anthony, Lynndan, siblings, Larry (Linda) Williams, Janice (late Bob) Stewart, Jane (Dan) Ross, longtime best friends, Gail and Howard Smith as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Friday, April 19th from 4:00-8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00am with interment following in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to Faith Alliance Church 3305 Oak Orchard Rd, Albion, NY 14411.
