It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy at the age of 83. She was surrounded by her loving family. Throughout her life, she was a source of love and joy to her family.
Nancy was born in Roswell NM to Rita Duran and Benny Gonzales. She had three brothers, Manuel (deceased), Benny and Max. Nancy lived in Los Chavez and Albuquerque with her beloved husband, Pete with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. They had three children, Yvette, Julie (husband Randy) and Joseph (wife Cindy), grandchildren Sharon, Shawn, Alyx and Ryan, and great-grandchildren, Tayllir, Harvey, Infinity and Mateo. As a grandmother, Nanny's love knew no bounds. She played an instrumental role in the upbringing of her grandchildren, creating countless memories filled with laughter, joy, and tender moments.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Rita, her eldest daughter Yvette and her brother Manuel. She will be greatly missed but we take comfort in knowing she is resting in peace.
