Nancy Cervantes Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carnes Funeral Home - Texas City on Mar. 7, 2026.
Nancy Liliana Cervantes was born on March 28,1983 in Mexico to Sonia Hernandez and Alfonso Cervantes. Nancy attended Houston and Galveston City Schools, graduating from Ball High School, Class of 2003. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of her who departed this life on March 2, 2026, after bravely battling ongoing heart complications. Though she faced many health challenges, Nancy continued to live with strength, love and determination. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Nancy was a mother, sister, aunt and a devoted wife whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a heart for giving and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and even strangers. Nancy was known for bringing her family together, filling her home with warmth, laughter and the comforting smell of her cooking. To her, family meant everything, and she made sure everyone felt loved and welcome. She had a beautiful way of spreading love wherever she went. Her strength compassion, and caring spirit made her someone people could always rely on. She believed in standing by her word and living with honesty and loyalty. Above all, Nancy was a devoted mother and remained determined to give her daughter a good life, always working hard and putting family's needs before her own.

Nancy leaves behind cherished memories with her loving family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Christina Wesley, along with many loving siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Her life was a blessing to those who knew her. Her love, guidance, and unforgettable presence will live on through the stories shared, the traditions she created, and the love she gave so freely.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing Nancy's love will remain with us always. Her spirit lives on in the family she cherished and the lives she touched. Until we meet again, Nancy, you will forever be loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
