Nancy Clark Obituary

Nancy Ann Clark
Alton - Nancy Ann Clark, 58, died at 9:09 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born January 10, 1967 in Alton, the daughter of Judy Ann (Denham) Wigger (Kenneth) of Godfrey and the late David Clark. Nancy worked as a mail carrier with the Godfrey Post Office for many years. Nancy was an accomplished sketch artist. She loved music, concerts, driving down the River Road and baking for her family. Her greatest joy in life was her son, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. On October 14, 2018 in Alton, she married Brian Hancock, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sonja Main (David) of South Roxana, Tori McKinnon of Kansas City, MO, two sons, Erik Clark (Michaela) of Godfrey, Joshua Hancock (Jessica) of Wood River, eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Sebastian, Damien, Braydon, Serenity, Konor, David Jr. and Quinntin her three brothers, John Clark, Steve Clark and David Wigger and her sister, Karen Beebe. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Clark. Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
