Nancy was such a rare individual it seems that she should have been immortal. We graduated in the class of 1951 at Charlotte Central High School and were among the few to migrate all the way to California. I visited her several times and admired her skills on her stallion, Willy and her many accomplishments with the Marconi Society and so many others. She worked hard right up to the end and continued to be close friends with Barry with the two making great dancing partners. She became like a grandmother to my son and his fiancée during his five years at Stanford and I last saw her at his wedding this past year where she still brought smiles to everyone she knew. She will be sorely missed by her many friends but as earth cries, heaven will certainly be smiling. My condolences to Barry and Nancy's family.

Nancy was not just an administrator for the Sloan class of 1974, but a true friend. Though on the East coast we got together whenever we were in the area. We truly miss her.
