Beth Eisenfeld Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Segal Funeral Home - Beth David Chapel - Tampa on Feb. 2, 2026.
Beth Levin Eisenfeld, beloved wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend passed away

peacefully at the age of 67 on January 25, 2026, in Tampa, Florida.

The daughter of Barbara and David Levin, Beth grew up in Oak Park and Southfield,

Michigan. She graduated from Southfield High School and went on to earn a Bachelor

of Landscape Architecture at Michigan State University and a Master of Urban Planning

at University of Michigan.

In 1983, Beth got married and moved with her husband Mike to Chicago where she

worked as a Landscape Architect until she began working in Information Technology

and earned a Certificate in Computer Science at DePaul University. She and Mike

moved to Menlo Park, California in 1996. Beth became an authority on sales force

automation and then Customer Relationship Management (CRM) traveling and

speaking around the world. In 2005, Beth and Mike moved to Tampa. Beth decided to

apply her analytic skills to Strategic Security and earned a Doctorate in Strategic

Security from Henley Putnam University and National American University (NAU). She

left the corporate world and taught Strategic Security at NAU and American Public

University.

Beth was a dedicated, principled, and hardworking analyst, researcher, and teacher

who put 100% into everything she did. Early in her career as a project manager, she

was known for getting the job done on time and on budget. As a professor, she was

known as tough, but fair and empathetic to student challenges. Beth helped friends and

relatives with the same dedication. She also volunteered as a Florida Master Gardner

and served many years on the City of Tampa's Architectural Review Commission.

Beth will be missed by her husband Mike, siblings Paula Spector and John and Sue

Levin, nieces and nephews, and many friends who will always remember her integrity

and stick-to-it-iveness.
