Nancy Renee Cook, 72, of Logansport passed away Friday, August 30, 2025 in the Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne,

Nancy was born July 17, 1953 in Logansport, Indiana, to the late Jacqueline Mae (Wallace) and Dale Charles Reingardt.

Nancy was a homemaker and her home reflected her love of family. She showed compassion for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren - cheering for them through thick and thin. Nancy had a Coca-Cola collection she had gathered over the years making her home feel welcoming in a way that was uniquely hers Her fridge full of magnets that told the story of her life-places she'd been, gifts from folks who loved her, and little bits of her personality stuck up there for all to see. She had a way with animals, too. Her own pets were spoiled and adored, but she never stopped there. Nancy spent many hours at the Cass County Humane Society, sitting with the dogs, talking to them like old friends, and making sure they felt loved and knew that somebody cared

Nancy is survived by her fiancé, Daniel Hershberger; her children, Shane Hudson, Tara Hudson (Shawn Rowe), Travis Hudson, Kayla Hudson (Mark Neher); one sister, Leesa Criswell; grandchildren, Shane Hudson, Katie Hudson, Elizabeth Smith and Blake Wilson; and her great-grandchildren, Zayden, Eli. and Aaliyah.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister Gail Hartoin.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Nancy Cook will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Fisher Funeral Chapel. Ray Bean will officiate at the service.
