Nancy Davenport Obituary
Nancy Lynn Davenport, 79, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, surrounded by the deep love of her family at Murray Woods Nursing Home in Chatsworth, GA.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Abe Davenport, her parents, John and Anna Brandenburg, and her brother, John Brandenburg.
Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love that continues through her children: John Davenport (Jane Ridley), Shirley Adams (Frank), Tracie Jackson (Ronnie), Clayton Davenport (Crystal Gray), and Amanda Martinez (Dean). She cherished her role as a grandmother and was immensely proud of each of her grandchildren: Jake Adams, Kaley Davenport, Sheena Inglett, Elliott Jackson, Kade Martinez, Karis Martinez, and Jennifer Tudor. Nancy was also blessed with three great-granddaughters, two bonus great-grandchildren, and three sisters, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A private memorial service with her children and grandchildren will be held at a later date to honor Nancy's life and the impact she had on her family.
Companion Funeral Home is honored to serve the Davenport family during this time.
