Denise Laray Benton, 46, passed peacefully on November 25, 2025. Born on January 24, 1979, Denise lived a life defined by kindness, devotion, and a deep love for the people around her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Davis; grandparents, Glen "Shorty" Dalton and Irene Dalton; and sister, Kristie Johnson.
Left to carry her memory are her loving husband, David Benton; her beloved son, Gabriel Benton; her mother, Peggy Prock; her bonus mom, Darlene Davis; her brother, Burt Davis; nieces, Shay (Travis) Moats and Shi (Logan) Dodson; great-nephews, Alex Moats, Owen Moats, and Maddux Dodson; great-niece, Karissa Dodson; and mother-in-law, Donna Tatum. Her family circle was wide, woven tightly with love, respect, and lifelong bonds.
Denise's enthusiasm for life shined through her passions. She adored all things Disney, found joy and strength in running, and loved reading-each hobby reflecting her creative, spirited, and determined nature. Her vibrant personality and gentle heart touched countless lives.
She leaves behind not only a large circle of cherished friends and family, but also the many patients, and the family of those patients who came to see her as a part of their own. Through her compassion, dedication, and gentle spirit, she wove countless lives into the fabric of our family, creating connections that will continue to honor her memory for years to come.
Denise will be remembered for her warmth, her grace, and the way she made every person feel valued. Her legacy remains in the love she shared, the lives she uplifted, and the memories treasured by all who knew her.
