Obituary published on Legacy.com by Patton Funeral Home LLC - Cleveland on Dec. 4, 2025.
Rosella Davis, 90, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025.

Born on October 6, 1935, in Claiborne County, Mississippi, to John and Mary Davis, Rosella lived a life guided by faith, love, and devotion to her family and friends. She was a woman whose kindness touched countless hearts and whose quiet strength inspired everyone around her. She had a special gift for making people feel valued and loved through her comforting presence and thoughtful words. Respected by all who knew her, she will be remembered for her sweetness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Davis; her husband, George Davis Sr.; her children, George Davis Jr. and Sandra Davis; her brothers, Eddie Davis, Johnnie Davis, and James Davis; and her sisters, Miriam Davis Bayless, Mae Pearl Davis, and Addie Mae Barnes, who now rest together in peace.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Hardin (Connie) of Great Bend, Kansas, Evelyn Thomas, Gloria Stevenson (Michael), Darlene Freeman (Greg), and Glinda Davis, all of Knoxville, TN. She also leaves a loving legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends, all of whom will carry her love, wisdom, and memory forward.

Rosella's life was a testament to the power of faith, hope, and resilience. She led by example, offering guidance with grace, sharing laughter freely, and leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Mrs. Davis was my two grandsons baby sitter, along with her husband. My daughter and I could go to work with no worries. They were like grandparents to those boys. Loving, kind and caring. Her and her family will always be loved.
Davis family, a well lived life. Thanks for sharing her with us.
