MILLBURY, MA and SPRING HILL, FL:
After nearly 56 years of marriage, David Alan Dulmaine (74) and Nancy Marie Dulmaine (76) passed away less than 6 months of one and other, Nancy, April 14th and David, Oct. 5th of this year.
David was born in Worcester on December 12, 1950 to Leo T. Dulmaine and Ann (Gover) Dulmaine of Millbury. David graduated from Millbury High School and later on served his country in the United States Army, 3rd Infantry Division during the Vietnam War. David was a plasterer by trade and worked doing that until his retirement. David enjoyed working on cars and hanging around with his Siberian Husky Polaris whom he took on long walks daily conversing with friends, family and neighbors along the way.
Nancy (Capistron) Dulmaine was born in Worcester on October 16, 1948 to Joseph O. Capistron and Anna (Norris) Capistron of Millbury. Nancy graduated from Millbury High School and worked for many years as a seamstress at Dulmaine Bros. Neckwear in Worcester, MA. She also worked for many years as a bus driver for the Sutton School System. Nancy was extremely talented and enjoyed many hobbies including painting, wreath making, sewing, knitting and cooking. Nancy was a devote Christian and read her bible daily.
David and Nancy were married on June 28, 1969 in Worcester. They leave behind their two children Jennifer L. Dulmaine of Spring Hill, FL and Christpher D. Dulmaine of Oxford; a granddaughter, Winter; a grandson, David and two great grandchildren, Jaydis and Dayva; David’s brother Robert L. Dulmaine of Millbury and Nancy’s brother Thomas N. Capistron of Millbury. Along with many nieces and nephews.
David and Nancy were predeceased by many loved ones including their son Sean Patrick Dulmaine and granddaughter Hayleigh L. Normandin. David’s brother Edward Dulmaine of Worcester, Ronald R. Dulmaine of Sutton, Ann (Dulmaine) Young of Millbury, Donna (Dulmaine) Jaques of Sutton. Nancy’s brother’s Peter N. Capistron of Millbury, Joseph Capistron of Brimfield, and both of Nancy’s sisters Karen (Capistron) Remuck of Millbury and Tina (Capistron) Desjardins of Scotland, CT.
After retirement David and Nancy both worked at the St. Charles Hotel in Millbury where they both made lifelong bonds. David and Nancy lived most of their lives in Millbury. They resided in Spring Hill, FL with their daughter once they became too sick to travel back and forth to their home in Millbury. While in Florida Nancy enjoyed bingo, going to the beach and shopping. David enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Florida where he would listen to his music and watch for the birds and wildlife.
A grave side service in Central Cemetery, Millbury, followed by a celebration of life will take place in June of 2026. Details of those services will be announced early in May of 2026
