Nancy Ann DeClue, beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted woman of faith, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, in Overland Park, Kansas, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was 78.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Nancy spent much of her life in her hometown, where she was a renowned florist for Pugh's Flowers for several decades. Her artistry and dedication brought beauty and comfort to countless lives, and her floral arrangements were a staple in the Memphis community.

Nancy's unwavering Catholic faith was the bedrock of her life. Even as her memory faded, her spiritual strength remained a guiding light. She was a devoted member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Memphis and St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Kansas City.

After retiring, Nancy moved to Kansas City to be closer to her family, where she embraced her role as "Nana" with love and enthusiasm. She is survived by her sons Gene DeClue (wife Stephanie DeClue) and Steven DeClue; her cherished grandchildren, and her grandniece and grandnephews, to whom she was also a loving Nana. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cary Kneller.

Nancy's warmth, creativity, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Funeral services will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church (706 S. Highland St. Memphis, TN 38111) at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 29th, followed by a family graveside blessing. The family recommends all flower arrangements go through Pugh's Flowers in Memphis to honor their large presence in Nancy's life and 30+ year career.
