Nancy S. DeJohn, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 21, 2025. She was 77 years old.
Nancy was born on August 22, 1947 to the late Frank and Emma (Reis) Sheets. She lived a life with love, grace, and quiet strength. She was deeply devoted to her family and her Christian faith.
Nancy had a beautiful voice and a deep love for music, which she shared through many joyful years singing in the church choir at St. John's Evangelical Luthern Church. Her love for reading was boundless, and her sharp eye and patience made even the most challenging jigsaw puzzles seem effortless.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Robyn Freeh (Anthony), and her cherished grandson, Aiden, who brought her endless pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marylee Sheets (late husband Frank), her nephew Adam, and her niece Nicole, who all reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Nancy's gentle spirit will be cherished, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
Friends will be received at the church on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 until the time of the memorial service starting at 6:00 pm at St. John's Evangelical Luthern Church of Perrysville 920 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.
