Nancy Dixon Obituary
Nancy Joyce Dixon, 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at The Laurels of Chatham. She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late James Kirk Dixon and Nora Anderson Dixon.
Nancy was a Certified Nurse’s Aid and attended Ireland Street Chapel as long as she was able. She moved with her parents to the Pittsboro Christian Village where she cared for them until the Lord called them home. She often checked on shut-ins and was a caregiver during most of her life. Nancy loved her Lord and praised Him during her lifetime.
Nancy is survived by her uncle, Hurley Dixon and his wife, Virginia; her sister-in-law, Karen Fogleman and husband, Robert and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James K. Dixon, Jr. and Roy Gwyn Dixon.
A Service to Celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2:00PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Wayne Jones with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45PM on Tuesday prior to the service.
