Nancy Doran Obituary
Nancy was devoted to her family and community. She lived 60 years with Type 1 Diabetes, striving daily to balance her body's needs with those of her family. Through daily diligence, she achieved milestones which astonished her medical providers. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and her radiant smile. She began training as a nurse, achieving her LPN certification, but soon transitioned to full time Mother; caring for her own children, and those of neighbors and friends, and eventually for her grandsons. She was deeply involved with the parish and school at Holy Trinity, serving with the CCW, MAs, and actively participating in parish life. She worked for many years in Dietary Services at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. Upon retirement, she enjoyed working in her yard, but loved nothing more than having her family around her.
Visitation Tuesday July 16, 2024 from 4-8 P.M. at Cappetta's West Suburban Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 N. Cass Ave., Westmont. Funeral Wednesday 9 A.M. at the funeral home processing to Holy Trinity Church 111 S. Cass Ave, Westmont for a 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Naperville.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Breakthrough T1D (was Juvenile Diabetes Foundation), Boys Town and Holy Trinity Church. Info 630-852-8000 or westsuburbanfh.com

Please accept our deepest condolences. We are so sad and heartbroken -words cannot express! We will forever remember Mom´s beautiful smile. She was an amazing and kind person. She was our adopted family and we will miss her The Kawa family
