Nancy Dudley Obituary
Nancy was born July 1, 1938 in Rowan County, NC to the late Dodd Nelson Swicegood and Elva Viola Eagle. She worked as the secretary of Swicegood Paper Company for 50 years. Nancy loved her family and her church family. She enjoyed cooking meals for the church.
Nancy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee “Bob” Dudley and brother, Johnny Nelson Swicegood.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Dudley of Salisbury, NC; sister-in-law, Claire Swicegood of Oak Ridge, NC; great-niece, Tammy Phillips (Danny) of Denton, NC; great-great-niece, Kaylee Fine and great-great nephews, Logan Fine and Leland Phillips.
The family will receive friends 10 -11 a.m. Thursday (January 15) at Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Scott Faw. Burial will be in Rowan Memorial Park.
