Marty Ray Bost

Marty Ray Bost, 49, of Salisbury NC and formerly of Ashe, NC passed away on January 25, 2026.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Eastwood Baptist Church. Visitation will take place 30 minutes prior to the service. The service will be directed by Pastor Randall Ritchie

Mr. Bost was born on April 20, 1976, in Concord to the late Pressley Ray Bost and Judy Martin Bost Bare.

Marty was an avid outdoorsman who could almost always be found outside. He had a passion for working on vehicles of all kinds and his beloved motorcycle. He spent many years working in the tree trimming and removal industry, where he built much of his career. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the friendships he formed throughout his life.

He is survived by his children: son Nathan Bost; daughter Trinity Blevins (Tristan); and son Trent Bost; former spouse of 25 years, Jessica Bost as well as his cherished grandchildren, Payton and Warren. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Hoyle Bost and his wife, Alice Nell Bost, and his maternal grandparents, Ray Martin and his wife, Blanche Martin.

Marty will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
