Nancy Band Obituary

Nancy Elaine (Batchelder) Band, known to her loved ones as Nancy, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 61 in Litchfield, New Hampshire. Nancy was born on April 2, 1962, in Waltham, Massachusetts. She grew up in Maynard, Massachusetts, where she attended Maynard High School.

Nancy had a fulfilling career in Financial Services, where she dedicated her time and expertise. She was known for her professionalism and commitment to her work. Nancy's passion for her career was only surpassed by her love for her family, children, and grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them and created lasting memories filled with love and laughter.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Geoffrey Band, who provided unwavering love and support throughout their journey together. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Batchelder Beutler. Nancy's memory will forever be cherished by her parents, Thomas and Elaine Bowen, her sister Katherine Gallagher Clark and husband Steven Clark, her nephew James Gallagher, her sister-in-law Laurie and husband Jack Collins, her nephew Steven and wife Rudy Collins, her children Nicholas and wife Rachael Walcott, Benjamin and wife Jaclyn Walcott, Geoffrey Band Jr and wife Rachel Band, Jason Band and his partner Chloe Baker, Brenda Band and partner Shaw Rosw, as well as her nine adoring grandchildren.

Nancy's kind heart and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her selflessness and the joy she brought to others. While we mourn the loss of Nancy, we find solace in celebrating the beautiful life she led.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at a later date to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Our Family Foundation "Our Promise to Nicholas," PO Box 10106, Bedford, New Hampshire 03110. Your support will help continue Nancy's legacy of love and compassion.

May Nancy Elaine Band's soul find eternal peace, and may her memory forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Nancy was the most kind, selfless and compassionate person I knew. I will miss our visits, laughs and tears we shared together. She wasn´t just my neighbor, she was a second mother to me. She is missed deeply. We love you forever, Nancy.

Joe and I are so sad to hear of Nancy´s passing. She was a wonderful person always smiling, loving life and her family. We always enjoyed chatting with her at camp and she will definitely be missed. You are not in pain anymore and now you can rest. Til we met again fancy Nancy.
