Nancy Eldridge Obituary
Nancy Ellen Eldridge, 80, of Jonesboro, passed away peacefully at 1:55 pm on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. She was born on October 6, 1945, in Decatur, Indiana, to Lee Irvin Tilden and Alice Marie (Teeters) Tilden.
Nancy graduated from Fairmount High School. She worked in assembly for many years with United Technology before retiring. She enjoyed knitting and was part of a knitting club at the library in Gas City. She loved her cats and she enjoyed attending bible study and watching the Andy Griffith Show.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Tilden of Jonesboro, IN; brother, David (Joan)Tilden; sister, Glenda Darlene McBride; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Alice (Teeters) Tilden; husband, Donald A. Eldridge; and brother, Dwain Darrell Tilden.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N.. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the visitation, a service celebrating Nancy's life will begin at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
