Nancy Estelle Perry

Nancy Estelle Perry died on 10/20/2025. She was born in Asheville, North Carolina on 10/30/1934 and was the only child of Estelle Cecilia Zaluski (Reichard) and Simon Warren Reichard. She is survived by her children Scott W. Perry, Elaine M. (Ken) Schwendeman and Karen W. (Jim) Porter plus stepchildren Matt (Jane) Petre, Anne Priest, Tim Petre, Greg Petre, Karen Petre, and her many beloved cousins. She was married to Robert Perry and to Jack Cleveland, and to Dick Petre. They preceded her in death. She leaves 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Nancy worked as a nurse prior to earning a doctorate degree from Ohio State University in psychology and provided counseling in Ohio, Wisconsin, and New Mexico for many years. She was a Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the school of nursing. Later on she was a prolific poet, author, and artist. Her latest poetry book, Sonnets of the Soul was published in 2025. Interment will be private in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Donations can be made to Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida.
