Nancy Vogel Feldman

1949 - 2026

Nancy Vogel Feldman, 76, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on January 28, 2026. She was born in New York City, where she spent her early childhood before her family moved to Charleston, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of the late Marion Lack Vogel and Harry Vogel.

Nancy was a devoted member of Congregation Agudath Achim in Savannah and a passionate advocate for education and community. She earned her degree in Political Science from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and throughout her life, she emphasized the importance of higher education and lifelong learning.

She served on the board of Rambam Day School in Savannah and was actively involved in the Savannah Jewish Federation, dedicating her time and energy to strengthening the Jewish community and supporting future generations.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Feldman. After moving with Paul and their family to Savannah in the 1980s, she opened the Design Center of Savannah at B & B Paint Company. A gifted and imaginative designer, Nancy had an extraordinary eye for color and an exquisite sense of style. She took great joy in fashion and design, and she especially loved shopping for jewelry, clothing, and shoes.

Nancy was also a devoted animal lover. It was not uncommon to find her driving around Savannah with water and dog food in the trunk of her car, just in case she encountered a stray animal in need of care or rescue. Her compassion extended to all living beings and reflected her deeply generous spirit.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Amanda Feldman Gorodeski, her husband, Dr. Eiran Gorodeski, and their children, Isaac, Maya, and Leo, of Beachwood, Ohio; her son, Dr. Daniel Feldman, and his children, Nathan and Alexa, of Denver, Colorado; and her siblings, Stephen Vogel and his wife Debbie, Joan Vogel, and Richard Vogel.

Graveside services will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon in Section S of Bonaventure Cemetery. Rabbi David Cantor officiating.

Remembrances: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal charity of your choice or to Gross Schechter Day School in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
