Michael A. Feldman

Michael Feldman was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Alice (Belkin) and Nathan Feldman. A graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School, he earned a B.S. in Geology from Brooklyn College before heading west to begin his career at Northern Indiana Public Service Company. During this time he met and married Judy (Oppenheimer), the love of his life, and began raising a family. He later spent 12 years in Michigan with Northern Michigan Exploration Company as a geologist and petroleum engineer, followed by another five years in Bakersfield. He then founded AJ Environmental, calling it "the best ten years of my professional life," and retired in 2005. Mike also volunteered for seven years at Ronald Reagan Elementary School, enriching students in science and math.

Mike loved coaching Little League, supporting Cub Scouts, and helping found the West High Band Boosters. An avid camper for 50 years, he delighted in planning trips across the U.S. and Canada, embracing the beauty of our country. He also enjoyed cycling, hiking, and creating stained glass. Honest and steadfast, Mike cared deeply for those around him and always had their backs.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy; his children, Neil Feldman and Beth Terhune, Leslie Feldman, and Pam Stahl; and his grandchildren, Ben, Grete, and Makayla. He will be dearly missed by friends and family.
