Nancy Ann Gonsalves

Nancy Ann Gonsalves, nee Gill, a devoted mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 01, 2025, in Lillington, North Carolina. She was 67 years old. Born in Syracuse, New York, on November 25, 1958, Nancy lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and quiet strength.

A proud graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School, Nancy built a long and respected career in the financial industry, where she worked in banking and mortgage processing. Colleagues admired her attention to detail, professionalism, and unwavering integrity. She took pride in helping others navigate important life milestones through her work.

Above all, Nancy cherished her family. She is survived by her loving her children, Philene Law and Kevin "Cole" Raynor (Jennifer). She was a proud and doting grandmother whose home was always open for laughter, warm meals, and hugs.

Nancy was the daughter of the late Paul Gill and Phyllis Gill, and was predeceased by her sister, Theresa Smith. She is also remembered fondly by her sisters, Margaret Wilson (Dennis) and Linda Gill-Jones (William), with whom she shared cherished childhood memories and lifelong bonds.

Even as she relocated to North Carolina later in life, Nancy never lost her Central New York roots. Her resilience, warmth, and quiet humor remained constants to all who knew her.

A private family service will be held to honor Nancy's life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.

Though she is deeply missed, Nancy Ann Gonsalves leaves behind a legacy of love, diligence, and family first-a life well-lived and a heart well-given.
