Nancy Guynup Obituary
She was born in Morrisonville, April 17, 1942, the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Lamora) Jessey. She grew up in Morrisonville and attended school in Morrisonville.
She married Gerald Guynup on May 27, 1961, at St. Alexander's Church. He predeceased her April 21, 2011.
Left to cherish the memory of Nancy are, her two daughters, Tammy (Randy) Rawleigh, and Patty Delisle (Alex Provost); five grandchildren, Kolby (Liz) Rawleigh, Hunter Rawleigh, Hannah (Rob) Stroehlein, Mollie Short, and Loghan Delisle (Sassine); eight great-grandchildren, Finn, Brantley, Emelia, Averie, Nora, Aurora, Lily, and Scarlett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Robert, Harold, Geraldine, Bertha, and Bernice.
Committal prayers will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11 am at the Town of Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum on the Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh with Rev. William G. Reamer, officiating. A reception will follow with details to be announced at the service.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Arrangements are in the care of the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru, 518-643-9055.
