Nancy Hart Bright Morgan

Nancy Hart Bright Morgan, 85, passed away on May 26, 2024. She was born December 27, 1938, in Macclesfield, North Carolina, the daughter of Wilbur and Naomi Hart. She graduated from South Edgecombe High School in PineTops, North Carolina and attended Enterprise Junior College. She married J.C. Bright in 1957 and had 3 children Catherine, Diane, and Richard. They moved to Arkansas in 1970 after serving 10 years in the military. In 1979, she was married to Donnie Morgan until the time of his death in 2016.
Nancy loved cooking, sewing, camping, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmom Elizabeth Hart, 4 half-brothers, 2 half-sisters, and daughter-in -law Jill Bright.
She is survived by her children Catherine Garmon of Emory, Texas, Diane Wehmeyer and husband Stan of Bentonville, Arkansas, Richard Bright of Rogers, Arkansas, and step-daughter Donna Morgan O'Neill and husband Eric of Exeter, Missouri. Also surviving are grandsons Matthew Peacock and wife Shawnee of Emory, Texas, Steven Wehmeyer and wife Chris-Mari of Hot Springs, Arkansas, granddaughters Lauren Bright Cartwright and husband Jeff of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Stephanie Wehmeyer of Los Angeles, California, step-granddaughters Nicholle Forgery and husband Seth of Exeter, Missouri, Baillie Nelson and husband Trevor of Exeter, Missouri, great-grandsons Tucker Peacock and wife Aubrey of College Station, Texas, Tate Peacock of Emory Texas, Matthew, Johnathan and William Wehmeyer of Hot Springs, Arkansas, step-great-grandson Cash Forgey of Exeter, Missouri, great-granddaughters Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Elliette Wehmeyer of Hot Springs, Arkansas, step -Wrenleigh Forgy of Exeter, Missouri, great-great granddaughter Ella Tate Peacock of College Station, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Visitation will be held 5:00-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Benton County Funeral Home 306 N. 4th St. Rogers, Arkansas. Family Graveside Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
