Nancy Louise Hills, 59, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 6, 1965, in York, PA, Nancy's journey was one marked by an unwavering dedication to those she cherished and a life rich with purpose and joy.
Nancy's early years in Lawrenceville laid a foundation for a life characterized by care and service to others. Her parents, the late James Frank and Nellie Margaret (Wainwright) Hills, instilled in her the values of kindness and generosity that would define her. Nancy's spirit of nurturing extended to her beloved companion of over 30 years, Carse William Stanton, Jr., and her son, Joshua Tyler Hills Stanton, who were the center of her world. Her love also encompassed her brothers, Claude, Roger, Duane, and Bryan Hills, who will remember her as the family's heart.
Professionally, Nancy's empathy and enthusiasm found a perfect outlet at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill, where she served as the activity's director. Her creativity and passion for bringing joy to others shone brightly as she enriched the lives of the residents with engaging and thoughtful programs. Nancy's role as a caregiver extended beyond her professional life as she lovingly cared for Danny, Claire, and Jimmy, ensuring their final years were filled with happiness, adventures, and the warmth of family during holidays.
Nancy's interests were a reflection of her love for life and nature. She found solace and delight in the simple pleasures of berry picking and trips to the beach, which provided her with a profound sense of peace and contentment. Her many animals over the years, especially her cat Murphy, were recipients of her boundless affection and care, each one a cherished companion in her journey.
Those who knew Nancy will remember her for the light she brought into every room and the unconditional support she offered to friends and strangers alike. Her legacy is one of love, a reminder to all to cherish the moments that bring us together and to care deeply for those around us.
