Nancy J. Hohol

Nancy J. Hohol, 90, of Niagara, WI, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at the Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson.

Nancy was born in Iron Mountain, MI, on Nov. 27, 1935, daughter of the late Reuben and Ellen (Anderson) Nylund. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1954. On April 30, 1960, Nancy was married to Anthony "Pat" Hohol. They shared 54 years together before Pat preceded Nancy in death on Jan. 15, 2015. Nancy worked for the Michigan Bell Co./AT&T for 30 years before retiring in 1989.

Despite her quiet and reserved nature, Nancy was an honorary life member of the Communication Workers of America and she enjoyed gathering for her monthly meetings with the Pioneers. Nancy's artistic side showed through in her photography, painting, and sewing. Generous donations of both her time and money were offered to many including annual assistance at Baycliff and donations to the Shriners Hospital and the Humane Society. She also enjoyed bus trips to the casino. First and foremost, Nancy was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother and loved time spent with her family and her beloved cats.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her 3 daughters, Lisa (David) McCutcheon, Lynn Wilson, and Laurie (Mike) Schultz; 4 grandchildren, Molly and Meg McCutcheon and Summer and Skylar Wilson; and a great-grandson, Kavion.

In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bruce Wilson, and grandson, Jarred Wilson.

Visitation will be at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home, 901 Carpenter Ave., from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, followed by a graveside service in Niagara Cemetery.
