Nancy Verle Holsey, 77, of McPherson, Kansas, peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her home.
She was born on January 27, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas.
Nancy found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved listening to music—especially songs by Elvis—and could often be heard singing along to her favorite old country tunes. Her laughter was truly infectious, bringing smiles to those around her.
She enjoyed small gatherings with friends and family, where her sweet spirit and playful, ornery nature shone through. Whether she was singing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” or “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” Nancy created moments that will be fondly remembered by both staff and friends.
Nancy also loved looking at Christmas lights, visiting the zoo, and spending time with those closest to her. She especially treasured visits with her brother and sister-in-law, celebrating birthdays and sharing special moments together.
She was a kind and loving soul who cared deeply for others—loving fiercely and wholeheartedly. Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her brother, Robert Holsey (Linette) of Wichita, Kansas, as well as her cherished family at Multi-Community Diversified Services, where she formed many meaningful and lasting relationships over the years.
