Nancy Kovacik Baldauff Howard

Nancy passed away on December 12, 2025 at her home in Alexandria, Va after a short illness. She was a 1961 graduate of Butler High School and a 1965 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She was a teacher for the Alexandria Schools teaching middle school English and drama. She also received the Golden Apple Away for exceptional teaching. Upon her retirement she became a docent for the District of Columbia for 17 years including the Folger Library. She and her husband Steve of 44 years traveled extensively and she is survived by him. She had one daughter Sarah Chapman Baldauff who passed away December 24, 1975 when she was three. Her oldest sister Pat Bush passed away in Phoenix, Az in 2023. She is survived by her younger sister Antonette Toni Fennick who resides in Butler Pa. Also one nephew Richard Bush of Phoenix, Az. There are several surviving cousins. There will be a celebration of life later in Washington, DC.
