Nancy Johnston Obituary
Nancy L. Johnston, age 68 of Mankato passed away Monday September 9, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday September 14, 2024 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service Saturday.
Nancy Johnston was born August 16, 1956 in Mankato to Francis and Esther (Possin) Braam. She graduated from St. Clair High School 1974. Nancy was united in marriage to Dennis Johnston on June 28, 1975 at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Nancy and Dennis co-owned Hilltop Tavern in Mankato. More recently she worked at Rihm Kenworth. Nancy enjoyed quilting and serving others in both life and death.
She is survived by her husband Dennis; son, Dana (Jamie) Johnston, Canton, GA; four siblings, Ken (Roni Wendt) Braam, Gene (Tami) Braam, Gary (Cindy) Braam, Randy (Paula) Braam; mother-in-law, Patricia Johnston; inlaws, Denise (Mike) Burr, David (Cindy) Johnston; many nieces nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Lauren Johnston.
