Timothy John Jaeger, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6th, 2026, surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Northview. A light lunch will follow the service.
Tim was born on May 25, 1953, in Mankato, MN, to Aloys and Monica (Ulman) Jaeger. He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1971 and was united in marriage to Lori Ferguson on April 15, 1978. As a husband, Tim was steady, dependable, and devoted, always putting his family first.
A hardworking and humble man, Tim dedicated more than 45 years to Berry Plastics (formerly National Poly and AEP), retiring on June 23, 2020. After retirement, he continued to stay active, working for AmVan for five years. He was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to help anyone who needed a hand.
Tim found his greatest joy outdoors, especially when he was on the lake with a fishing pole in his hand. He enjoyed caring for his yard, spending time with family, and rarely turned down a good game of cards or cribbage. Though quiet by nature, his playful teasing, especially with his grandchildren, brought laughter and created memories they will forever cherish.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lori; his children, Brandon (Gina) Jaeger, Becky (Jared) Juliar, and Tim (Nicole) Jaeger; and his grandchildren, Katlyn (Dalton) Androli, Hunter Jaeger, Loghan Juliar, Elsie, and Kaley Jaeger. He is also survived by his sister, Carol (Larry) Bickell; mother-in-law, Elaine Fossen; brothers-in-law, Todd (Marci) Ferguson, Steve Hetland, and Dale Krohn; sisters-in-law, Maria (Roy) Gilman and Betty Jaeger; and many nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jan Krohn; brother, Steven “Mike” Jaeger; fathers-in-law, Russell Fossen and Leo Hetland; and granddaughter, Shelbi Juliar.
His memory will live on in the family who loved him.
