Michael Jaeger, age 76, of Edgewood, New Mexico, passed away on January 29, 2026, holding hands with his wife, Jo Ann. He was born on October 6, 1949, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Margaurite and Francis Jaeger. After graduating from Hamburg High, he joined the Air Force, serving overseas for eight years. On March 30, 1971, he married his beloved Jo Ann Moya, and they started a life together. Michael was known for auto racing and was an active member of the Sports Car Club of America, winning so many races he couldn’t keep all his trophies.
Michael is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Jaeger; son, Matthew Jaeger; brother, Pete Jaeger; and sister, Suzanne Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaurite and Francis, as well as his sisters, Ginny, Gretchen, and Mazie. A funeral will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on February 6 at 2:00 p.m.
