Jacob "Jake" Wylie Jaeger

November 4, 1996 - December 16, 2025

Jake was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Lara and Geoff Jaeger. He moved with his family to Corvallis eight months after his birth.

He died after a lengthy struggle with addiction and mental health issues.

Jake grew up in Corvallis, and developed into an outgoing, charismatic young man. He had many friends and acquaintances, and was loved by his family. We remember him as being shockingly funny and astute, or conversely, sensitive and caring. Jake worked in the construction field, and especially remembered his time at Odell Lake. He loved sports, delighted in trying new things, helping folks on the road, and liked nothing better than attempting to build or fix whatever project crossed his path. His home remains filled with those projects, some more successful than others. Last but not least, he loved his hounds, Rex and Chowder, and lavished them with affection and snazzy gear.

Jake is survived by his grandmother Alberta, his parents Lara and Geoff, and his sisters Megan, Jessica, and Lucy. We all miss him so so much.
