Nancy Kinkade Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Haught Funeral Home on Mar. 3, 2026.
Nancy Lee Miller Kinkade, a woman of love and generosity, passed away on February 24, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida, at the age of 71. Born in Warren, Ohio, on September 26, 1954, to the late Chester and Rose Miller, Nancy's life was a tapestry woven with joy, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
Nancy's life was shared with her devoted partner of over a decade, Gary Hughes, who stood by her side, sharing in the laughter and love that defined her days. She was a cherished mother to her daughter Brenda White, and son, JR whose own children and grandchildren added layers of happiness to Nancy's life. Nancy was a sister, a friend, and a mentor to her siblings: Jerry Miller, the late Terry Miller, Peggy Neely, and Sandy James. Her legacy continues to bloom in the lives of her five adored grandchildren- the lateTravis, Troy, Chyanne, Courtney, and Caitlynn-and her nine great-grandchildren-Trenton, Aubri, Raelynn, Tucker, Weston, CJ, Rocky, Maddie, and Brayden-who were the pride and joy of her existence.
An eternal optimist, Nancy's love for the simple pleasures in life was contagious. She found peace in the beauty of sunsets, the dance of butterflies, the fragrance of roses, and the serenity of beaches. Her happiest moments were often found sitting outdoors, immersed in the wonders of nature, with the laughter of her grandkids and great-grandkids as her favorite melody. Nancy's passion extended to her love for the music of Elvis Presley and the grace of dolphins, both of which brought her immense joy and comfort.
Described by those who knew her as loving, generous, and thoughtful, Nancy's heart knew no bounds. She lived her life as an embodiment of kindness, always willing to do anything she could to brighten the lives of others. Her presence was a source of strength and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on every heart she touched.
Nancy's absence will be deeply felt by all who were blessed to know her, yet her spirit endures. Her lessons of love, her acts of kindness, and her spirit of giving continue to ripple through the many lives she touched. Nancy's memory will be treasured like the most precious of gems, shining brightly as a reminder of the beauty and grace she brought into the world.
As we bid farewell to Nancy Lee Miller Kinkade, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and joy, a life that enriched us all. She has left us with a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and guide us for generations to come. Nancy's journey through life was a testament to the power of a positive spirit and a big heart, and her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those she loved.
