Nancy M. Koch, 75, of Cazenovia, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at her residence.
She was born on December 3, 1950, in Peoria, IL, to Arthur and Roseanne (Vegelius) Kennel. She married Duane E. “Cookie” Koch on September 10, 1970 in Metamora, IL. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2020.
Surviving are her four children, Debra Chapman of Chenoa, IL, Gary (Sharlene) Koch of Forrest, IL, Brenda Koch of Odell, IL, and Vicki Koch of Forrest, IL. Nancy was blessed with seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Judy Ehrlich of Mohomet, IL and Chris (Mike) Uzelac of Germantown Hills, IL; and one brother, Mike (Vicki) Kennel of Harlingen, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Duane, son Brian Koch, and son Rick (Sharon) Koch of Nebraska.
Nancy was a very beautiful soul inside and out. She was a loving and caring mother to all her children. She will be missed dearly.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Illinois Cancer Care, 8940 North Wood Sage Road, Peoria, IL 61615. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
