David Allen Koch, 85, died peacefully on March 15, 2026, following a short illness. A rosary is planned for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd. in San Antonio, followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m.
He is survived by daughters Jill Hiney and Kristen Helkey, and son Karl Koch; sister Rita Benson; brothers Peter Koch and Jim Koch; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the "Support for David Koch's Family" GoFundMe account (https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-david-kochs-family) established to help defray medical and funeral expenses.
