Nancy E. Kohel
(nee Derwin) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Ellen Kohel, who peacefully departed this life on Monday, February 23, 2026 at the age of 85.
Born on September 16, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI, Nancy was a devoted daughter, loving wife, cherished mother, proud grandmother, and loyal friend. She lived her life with grace, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and compassion.
Nancy was known for her kindness, resilience, and generous spirit. Whether through her work or her dedication to her family and community, she made a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She found happiness in her friends, bible study, and movies. Her presence brought comfort and light to those around her.
She is survived by her two sons: Christopher Mecca, Gregory Mecca and his wife Kristie, three granddaughters: Oksanna Normandeau, Olivia Mecca, and Olyse Mecca, and her sister Pat and brother Richard, who will forever carry her love in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Geraldine Derwin and her sister Carol.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to guide us. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the lives she touched, and the family she so deeply cherished. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
