Nancy Koslosky Obituary

Nancy J. Koslosky, 87, of Ellsworth, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington. She was born in Bentleyville November 18, 1938, a daughter of the late John and Helen Lancy Mihalek. Nancy graduated from the Bentleyville High School in 1956 and later attended the University of Pittsburgh where she obtained her secretarial degree. Mrs. Koslosky was employed as an administrative assistant, along with various other positions for the Bentworth High School and retired after many years of service. She enjoyed many things in life including bus trips, attending shows in Pittsburgh such as the symphony, and spending time with her family and friends. Nancy was famous for her cooking and baking especially her pierogi's, which came in many different flavors. She had a strong Catholic faith and was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Bentleyville for many years, as well as the Catholic Daughters of America, and a former member of the Lioness Club. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Jeffrey Koslosky (Donna Combs) of Bentleyville, and Kevin Koslosky (Kendyl Lienard), also of Bentleyville; three grandchildren, Jason Koslosky, Addison, and Cullan McCabe; and several nieces. Preceding her in death were her husband, Carl Koslosky, who passed away August 21, 2011; and her brother, John Mihalek Jr. Family and friends will be received Friday, January 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of a blessing service at 12:30 p.m. in Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, with Deacon Al Poroda officiating. Interment and the Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. A guest book is available at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com
