Nancy Mary Krause, a cherished member of her family and a dedicated professional, passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on June 4, 1947, in Detroit, she was a loving grandmother and a devoted accountant who spent decades working at Ford Motor.

Nancy's passion for her family was evident in her unwavering support for her granddaughters. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines at sports events, applauding their dance performances, or watching them glide across the ice at skating competitions, she made it a point to be there. Her love extended beyond the rink and field, as she enjoyed cozying up to watch Hallmark movies, traveling to new places, and indulging in afternoon shopping trips. She had a particular fondness for Disney, with her favorite ride being "It's a Small World," which allowed her to find a welcome retreat from the sun.

Nancy is survived by her son, Bradley (Jennifer) Krause; her granddaughters, Sophia, Emma, and Ella; her brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Arasim; her nieces, Laura (Richard) Miller, Maria Arasim, Dianne Krouse, and Cindy Arasim; as well as her nephews, David (Theresa) Arasim and James Arasim. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary (Jerome) Arasim and many beloved great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her significant other of thirty-four years, Jaime Bermudez; her parents, Walter and Helen Arasim; and her brother, Jerome Arasim.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Nancy's life will be held on March 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, Michigan. A Mass in her honor will take place on March 31, 2025, starting at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church in Canton, Michigan, following a gathering beginning at 10:00 AM on the same day.

Nancy Mary Krause will always be remembered as a loving grandmother, mother, and aunt dedicated to her family, whose beautiful spirit enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her kindness and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
