Karl John Krause 05/12/1964, age 61 of Carmel, Indiana, passed away on 02/12/2026 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital on 86th street in Indianapolis with his loving wife Lisa Krause by his side.
Karl is survived by his wife of 30 years Lisa Krause and his children Nikolas Krause (Michele), Sara Whited, Taylor Smith (Michael) and Jonathan Krause and his grandchildren that he loved so much, Hudson Karl Krause and Jett Whited, brothers Tom Krause (Sherry) and Steve Krause.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father, Carl Lee Krause and mother, Katherine Levan Stafford. Karl’s family meant the world to him. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, dog dad and friend to many.
He was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School. Karl then went to work for Bane Clean Carpet Cleaning for over 40 years and loved his Bane family.
Karl loved to be outside cruising on his John Deer, playing with his dogs Reese, Brewster and Cosmo, hanging out in the garage or having a good laugh when his friends would stop by and visit.
He was always there for his kids events with a proud dad smile on his face and a boastful cheer in whatever they accomplished.
