Nancy Lee Lang age 86 passed away on September 16, 2024.
She was born January 31, 1938 to Buck and Virgie Taylor.
Nancy married Velton Lang in 1959 who preceded her in death in 1998.
Nancy and Velton moved to Hendersonville from Oklahoma in 1975 after Velton relocated the family to work for legendary country singer Conway Twitty. Those who loved Nancy say she enjoyed traveling, music, and art. Nancy was a talented oil painter. She was fun loving and was often found at a penny slot machine wherever she went on vacation. She enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren and especially enjoyed her lunches with Hendersonville Fire Chief Jamie Steele. In her spare time she enjoyed watching football and Hallmark movies.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is preceded in death by her parents as well as siblings Virgil, Wayne, Jean, Audrey Faye.
She is survived by her children: Traci (Rich) Stengel, Scott (Jennifer) Lang, Michael (Beth) Lang, and Kelly (TG Sheppard) Lang, grandchildren: Cristena (Matthew) Parker, Adam (Kaitlyn) Lang, Braxton (Hailey) Lang, Grayson (Darby) Lang, Lexi (Clay) Lang, Sydney (Cameron) Vitulli, Anna Lang, Grant Lang, Heston Lang, Bennett Lang, Payton (Tobin) Dale, and Kennedy (Zack Jones) Kemp and great grandchildren: Casper Vitulli, Coleman Vitulli, Ella Gray Lang, Emerson Parker, Elliston Parker, Maddox Parker and John Walker Lang.
The family wishes to thank the team at Alive Hospice for all of their loving care of their beloved Nanny.
