Nancy Malone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gramer Funeral Home - Clawson on Jan. 13, 2026.
Nancy Ann Malone, 92, of Clawson, Michigan, passed away on January 11, 2026, following a short illness. She was surrounded by people who loved her.
Nancy grew up in Detroit and graduated from Commerce High School in 1951. She married the love of her life, Harvey Albert Malone, on April 23, 1954, in Detroit. Together they spent many wonderful years building a life, raising a family, and making memories until Harvey's passing on March 24, 2014.
Nancy was a devoted stay-at-home mom and the true heart and soul of her family. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, doll making, and reading. She especially loved square dancing with her husband and watching old movies. Nancy also had a famously terrible sense of direction-one she generously passed on to certain family members (no names mentioned)-along with a great sense of humor. She could laugh at her own mistakes, knowing she was leaving behind an entertaining story with each one.
Above all else, Nancy loved her family deeply. She was a beautiful soul who embraced life and all the people in it, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her son, Mark (Annette Elliott) Malone; her daughter, Kim (Patrick) Vincent; grandchildren, Greg (Amanda) Cooper, TJ (Julie) Cooper, Ryan (Heather) Vincent, and Chelsea (Nick) Sitterly; many beloved great-grandchildren; her sister, Gloria (Frank) Clark; her brother, Dan Dranberg; and many well-loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Malone; her parents, Edward and Henrietta; and her sister, Beverly.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2:00–6:00 p.m. at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., Clawson, MI 48017 (Livernois, between Maple Road and 14 Mile Road). A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Gramer Funeral Home, with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Forgotten Harvest or the Clawson Goodfellows. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Nancy, please visit our floral store.
