Nancy Mankowski, 59, of Aurora, IL, passed away on July 4th, 2025, leaving an unfillable void in her family's hearts.
Nancy is remembered as a devoted mother to the pride and love of her life, Keith Mankowski. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carol (Schultz) and Lester Mankowski and survived by her siblings, Craig (Diane) Mankowski and Karen (Carl) Interrante; her nieces and nephew, Alexis (Alex), Krista, Emily, and Sean and her great-niece, Genevieve. They will remember her for the laughter and love she brought into their lives.
Nancy is remembered for being Keith's number one fan in all he accomplished. Her love for her son shined bright in all she did. Her eyes radiated when she spoke of Keith's performances and achievements.
She is also remembered for her love for horror novels and movies, her undeniable skill with a needle and thread, the incredible work she did in fostering and rehabilitating dogs, especially her 'foster fail', Salem, and hosting legendary 'cousin bonding' weekends.
A Memorial Visitation for Nancy will be held at DuPage Funeral Chapel (951 W. Washington Street, West Chicago) on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Nancy's name to your favorite local animal charity.
