Nancy R. Marsh

Nancy R. Marsh, 80, passed away peacefully February 7, 2026 in Caldwell, OH. She was born in Suffield to the late Walter Ray Cain and Wilma Viola Cain.

Nancy was a congregant of Oak Hill United Presbyterian Church in Ellet, and she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend to many. Nancy served her community through her many works at Oak Hill, volunteering for the Akron Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, Challenge Golf, and the Ellet Amateur Athletic Association. Nancy served her family through her boundless love.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Dick Marsh; and siblings, Donald Cain and Douglas Cain. Nancy is survived by daughters Michelle (Robert) Wright, Jennifer (Kevin) Foss, and Carolyn (Patrick) Spurgeon; grandchildren, Haley Foss, Brendan Foss, and Addison Spurgeon; nephew Brian Marsh and partner Stacey Brooks; and great-nephew Andy.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday February 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Ave., Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Brian Nutt officiating. Calling hours will be at church one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m., with burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
