Nancy Louise Martin

Mrs. Nancy Louise Martin, age 84, of Pekin, passed away Sunday, November 16, at her home.

Mrs. Martin was born July 30, 1941, in Fredericksburg, Indiana the daughter of Aaron and LuElla Totten Deaton. She was a retired dental assistant for Dr. Martin Kennedy, DDS. She was a member of Big Spring Church of Christ.

Nancy married Oliver Martin on May 24, 1969 and he preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers: Robert Deaton, John Deaton, and Bill Deaton. She is survived by her children: Stacey Wright (Mark) of Pekin and Allison Steward (Brad) of Salem, four grandchildren: Amanda Dean (Brandon), Ashley Wiseman (Aaron), Olivia Akers (Kory), and Landon Steward, and five great-grandchildren: Holly and Kate Dean, Georgia and Bravin Akers and Baby boy Wiseman. She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Brenda Deaton of Georgetown, Katherine Marshall of Palmyra, Mildred Martin of Palmyra, and Linda Martin of Salem, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home with Larry Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
