With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Nancy McClain, who peacefully transitioned on September 21, 2024. Born on December 30, 1980, in Denver, Colorado, Nancy was a vibrant soul who brought joy and happiness to everyone around her.
Nancy was a woman of many talents and passions. She pursued a career as a Surgical Technologist for 23 years, a role she embraced with dedication and enthusiasm. Her compassionate nature led her to recently work towards a degree in nursing from Colorado Christian College, further displaying her commitment to serving others. Aside from her professional dedication, Nancy had a love for paddleboarding, skiing, crafting, and cooking. Her zest for life was infectious, and she had a unique affinity for anything that sparkled or blinged, a testament to her radiant spirit and personality.
A dedicated Christian, Nancy lived her faith not just in words but in action. She was actively involved in her church, often serving the community with love and generosity. In her life's journey, she embodied the words of the scripture, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10). Nancy's faith was her guiding light, and she lived her life as a testament of God's love.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Ozell McClain, her cherished daughters, Brianna and Kayla McClain; her devoted parents, John and Judy Kary; and her dear sister, Kathy Kary. She was a pillar of strength and love for her family, always seeking connection and cherishing the time spent together. Nancy's memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who loved her.
As we mourn the loss of Nancy, we invite you to celebrate her life by sharing your memories, photos, and stories on her memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comfort to the family and a beautiful tribute to a woman who lived a life of love, service, and faith.

Nancy was a firecracker! She always had sparkles, bright eye shadow, and a mischievous smile. I am so happy to have known Nancy. She was kind, hard working, funny, and dedicated to her friends and family. She loved her people very very hard. She always talked about her daughters and how proud she was of them. She was a big support of my endeavors, came to every party, our biggest fan. I will miss seeing her daily and hearing her infectious laugh. Love you very much Nancy.

Nancy and I worked together in the operating room evenings and night shifts. She was a joy to work with and a pleasure to visit socially. She spoke so highly and lovingly of her husband and both daughters. She will be missed by so many, but I shall keep her memory in my heart.

Nancy was literally the most vibrant and authentic person I´ve ever had the pleasure of being around. She will be greatly missed and the absence of her presence will be felt by people she probably didn´t even know she impacted.
